A pretty good summary of the pain induced by null references, and a neat way to deal with them via some Haskell know how. The OrThrow and OrNull are very handy.</description>

I definitely agree that NRE is one of the problems. And I really like your take on using native LINQ with Maybe! I had similar thoughts on that (but with more operations like &quot;Where&quot; to manage, convert or augment the inner states, esp. for multi-state monads), but this side of monads so far is still in the R&amp;D phase for me and is not really ready for the production or LSL, so I&#039;m mostly using pipeline operators.</description>
